Geocache Description:

This is one of a series of caches hidden up Highway 49 between Hwy 601 and Hwy 109 that pay tribute to my second favorite sport (college football will always be #1), Australian Rules Football, or Footy as it is commonly known.

If you have never seen a Footy game, you have missed a wonderful experience. Take NFL-size players, remove the pads and the meetings [huddles], add the non-stop flow of soccer or [sometimes] hockey, and allow pretty much anything [including punching and kicking an opponent in the back] as long as the player is playing or attempting to play the ball. That, mates, is Footy!

Each of these caches is a tribute to one of the 16 AFL teams, and each cache contains a number on the log. A final cache will be placed and you will only be able to find the final cache [and the SWAG] by using the numbers you collect from the team caches.

This cache is in tribute to the Essendon Bombers, one of ten teams located in the greater Melbourne area in Victoria. The cache is a large bison tube.

DON'T FORGET TO RECORD THE NUMBER ON THE LOG.
