Geocache Description:

This is a straight forward cache half way along the beautiful woodland walk between Champex Lac and the Val d'Arpette

This is one of our favourite walks. It is not difficult and, if you continue beyond the cache, you will arrive at a lovely relais (not open all year) with amazing views of the mountains where you can have lunch or just a drink. Further on there is a lovely meadow and a stream that is ideal for picnics or barbeque's with the children.

You're looking for a small clip top box which originally contained a pencil and a log book. I've located the cache so that it should be accessible in the winter which is a small clue to it's location.
