(Note: 9-5-2012... This cache is being under utilized for being near downtown Truckee. Try it...it's fun and pretty easy.....and has a neat little tool to find the hint stage. Look high, rather than low. Easy little walk, too...see below).
This is almost like a traditional one part cache with a hint nearby. You can park just west of the roundabout on the dirt lot next to the railroad tracks. Walk across the road, up the paved trail and hang a hard right just before it turns to dirt (about 300' or so). Posted coords are for the first stage (at/on the fence) and inside are directions to the final stage (a 3"x9" cylinder), a very very short distance away. You don't have to cross the phence to the phreeway side!!!
Good spots on the nearby boulders for an unusual vantage point of downtown Truckee....and don't miss Amtrak coming by at exactly............one to two hours late!!!
