This is a very easy P&G log only cache. Please bring you pen. You are looking for a camouflaged PVC tube with a twist off end. Please do not over tighten the cap.
On September 14, 1982, Sgt Ed Holcomb and 3 other officers from the Conroe Police department were dispatched to a domestic dispute. As the officers arrived on the scene, they found the suspects wife running from the mobile home. As the officers tried to make contact with the suspect, Sgt Holcomb made his way to the porch area. The suspect ambushed the officers with a high powered rifle striking Sgt Holcomb under his arm, an area that is not protected by bullet proof vests. The suspect then set the trailer on fire and shot himself. Sgt. Holcomb survived the initial attack but later succumbed to his wounds 3 weeks later.
It is fitting that this road that honors Conroe's only fallen officer begins at the gates of the Conroe Police and FBI Training Facility. I highly suggest that if you have time, to request a tour of the facility. It is a complete state of the art facility that trains officers on the Local, State and Federal Levels. One of the newest technological training tools is a virtual live action simulator. It simulates, using life size video and live action players in real time, the oppurtunity to not only hone tactical training but aids in decision making under stressful conditions and real time consequences of those decisions.
