Geocache Description:

This is a longer hike into Gorman Park.

Enjoy a nice hike into the deeper regions of Dr. Richard E. Gorman Park in East Hartford. This cache is a small lock 'n lock, hidden off one of the furthest trails in the park. These trails are perfect for small bicycles, so don't be afraid to bring the kids along...they won't want to leave. The area is relatively unknown and is quite beautiful, so feel free to explore.

Please park at the waypoint in this listing...other access via local streets requires crossing of properties and streams, and results in unhappy neighbors. Bring footwear appropriate to wet and muddy trail conditions. There are also several felled trees to traverse.
