This is our very first hide in our neighborhood park. Hope you enjoy it.
The first stage can be found at the provided coordinates. Despite what some GPS units and mapping may show, the first waypoint is NOT in the lake. The shoreline of Rocky Mountain Lake Park was modified back in the 90’s.
At the 1st waypoint, you will find an object with a specific date. The final cache can be found using this date and the following clues:
Take the DAY of the month on the object, and subtract 2. This value is A.
Now take the YEAR on the object, and calculate the sum of the four individual numbers. The resulting value is B.
The park is bounded on the south by a numerical street. Take this number and divide by 2. The resulting value is C.
Checksum (A + B + C) = 64

The cache is a small plastic “lock & lock” container, which is perfect for many trackables or small trade items. Bring a pen or pencil, just in case. CITO is always encouraged.
Initially, the container included a “Museum Buff” travel bug (ready for its very first journey), a “Lettuce Go Caching” geocoin, a whistle, a keychain-light, a plastic frog and a black poker chip.
