Geocache Description:

Sixth in my series of caches in tribute to the BBC comedy series of Blackadder (series 2) placed in the north part of Brentwood.

Blackadder 2 was set in Elizabethan England, which ran back in the mid 80's. The series follows on from Series one, with Edmond Blackadder the great grandson of the original Edmond.

If you have never watched the series, our Hero staggers, swaggers and plot's his way through the trials and tribulations of Elizabethan England. Valiantly trying to get ahead of the court in the favours of Good Queen Bess, whilst trying to keep attached to his head.

The series features many fine comic performance from the likes of Stephen Fry, Hugh Laurie, Miranda Richardson, Tony Robinson, Tim McInnerny, Rowan Atkinson plus special guest stars.

I've tried to include some of the smells and hazards of that bygone era, so watch out as you brave the footpath (if you have walked instead of driven).

The Cache contains only a log, so bring a pen, please ensure it is returned in the correct location, for obvious reasons.

Also it includes the letter for the bonus cache.

Parking is possible quiet close to GZ, in the lane, or at the cricket pavillion.

The Resturant the Green Man is now open after being renovated, but is no longer available for refreashment during the day time. Although it is bookable for an evening meal after you have done the walking.
