Dukhan Beach Cache
This cache is
located right on the beach at Dukhan. This beach is a public access
beach and is extremely popular over weekend with both the locals
and people from Doha. It is located south of the Dukhan Water
Sports Club which is exclusively for Qatar Petroleum employee
members.
During
weekends, especially in the winter month, you will find many people
out and about in this area. It is very popular for picnics and
general seaside activities. The water here is nice and shallow and
the prevailing wind is on-shore which makes it totally different to
the east coast beaches. This is also the most northerly of the nice
sand beaches before one gets to the Zikreet Peninsular. The
site is completely accessible by saloon car. Bring along a picnic
basket and relax for the day after having done a few other caches
en-route to Dukhan from Doha - or vice-versa. Stealth will be
required if the beach is busy. Remember to bring your own pen
along.

AND VIDEOGRAPHY. THIS APPLIES TO THE BEACH AREA AS
WELL.
