Nice little mountain roadside cache, available from 3 directions: Knapp Coulee road, Stayman Flats road or the good ol Chelan Butte road. Any way you arrive here is a nice drive. May need 4wd in wet conditions as the roads can get kinda slick. This cache won't be accessible with much snow either.
This cache is being planted for new cachin sister Ahmalama. She loves this crazy hobby, what's up with that?!?!?! The story of Three Treats comes from my son and I driving this road when he was about 10. We were just out lookin for critters one fine evening. Near this spot we saw a mom bear and 2 cubs heading up toward the top of the ridge. Crazy as it may seem we were up on that ridgetop at daylight the next morning, hoping for another peek at them. We did end up seeing them 2 more times that day. What an awesome treat to see these three bears three times, hence the name Three Treats. Original contents are three little bears that are meant to stay in the cache, and numerous other critters that want to go out exploring. Enjoy!!!
