Geocache Description:


This requires about a three mile hike round trip from the parking lot. A lot, a little, or no bushwacking required depending on your approach. Both the Poe Reef Lighthouse and the Fourteen Foot Shoal Lighthouse can be seen from this area.

Requires Michigan State Park Permit on your vehicle. Rates range from $6 for a Day Pass to $24 for an Annual Pass. Seniors get by with just $6 for an Annual Pass.

If you bring your dog, it must be on a leash of 6' or less.

There are three Rental Cabins on the Park grounds that may be occupied.
Please remain clear. NO caches are located near them.

There is parking at the Trailhead at: 45° 39.644 N, 084° 24.158 W.

You are looking for a small pill bottle with a log and pencil only. Please just unscrew the container from the lid, leaving the lid in place. Thank you.
