A hide in Pittsburgh's Oakwood park.
My daughter LOVES to play in this park and goes here on a daily basis. Ever since I started caching I have thought this would be a good place for one so now here one is. This is a wonderful park with a playground, a tennis court and basketball courts. This is definatly a family cache and it is quite easy to get to but I hope it is a little tricky to find. Beware to not be spotted when finding this thing or replacing it as MUGGLES ABOUND!!!!!!!! it is placed in an area that can be in full view of people in the park if they are in the right place. Some of the muggles in this park are just the kind that would love to find a cache and tear it apart and/or take the contents so please TAKE CARE not to be spotted. You are also in view of someones home so the real challenge in this one is not to be spotted. This cache is a small to medium sized Lock-and Lock container with camoflage tape large enough to hold smaller TB's and some small trade items. Original contents are several super balls a CITO, keychain and, a small keychain carabiner. I also am using this to launch my Pike's Peak TB so there are a couple nice things for FTF.
I have had it confirmed to me that indeed the large stone structure in this park was a reservoir. I was also told that at one time there was a school here as well. I always love to find caches that have a little history to them and appreciate a nice description of the area. I am in the process of trying to find a little more info about this park and the reservoir, I would definatly appreciate any info that anyone can send me about it.

Because of recent Muggling this cache was necesarrily moved. I have updated the coordinates and placed a new container with a new log. The log in this one is the same as the old log, it is a small tablet purchased from the Groundspeak store. The last one was taken I would appreciate if this one was not. These books are available for a couple of bucks from the Groundspeak store or you could even get one at REI in Robinson so please lave this one as a log for the cache. I have moved this cache to a more visible location in the middle of everything,THERE WILL BE TIMES YOU CANNOT GET THIS CACHE without being spotted so please use extreme stealth and common sense when looking for this one.
Original contents of the new cache are a small Groundspeak tablet that is the log, a laminated cache note, and Lillianna's geocoin...
