This is an outside cache that could have muggles in the area both on-foot and in vehicles. You can either walk the entire multi-cache or use your vehicle to travel from waypoint-to-waypoint. The entir multi-cache is walkable if you have the time, but personally I would take the car for all but the beautiful final walk that takes you to the cache location.
There are many things in our lives that I give Thanks for. I have been blessed in many, many ways.
Destination #1:
Examine the wall and look for the rectangular cornerstone. It's there. . . but there may be a few green "trashy" obstacles with wheels obscuring your view that you might need to look behind.
The following clues will take you to your next destination.
A= first number in the year on the keystone plus 4
B= last number in the year on the keystone plus 2
C= second number in the year on the keystone minus 1
D= third number in the year on the keystone plus 2

Destination #2:
Another thing that I Give Thanks for is the dedication and sacrifice of those men and women who have given their time and/or their lives to secure and insure my freedom in an unstable world. These coordinates place you in the midst of a memorial to unrivaled honor and commitment.
You can park on the grass using the openings along the curb at the location. With the street and the American flag to your back, and the creek straight ahead of you, and a big Carolina blue monster to your left, collect the following clues to take you to your next destination.
A= the first digit in the year on the bottom of the U.S. Coast Guard medallion plus 3
B= the second digit in the year on the bottom of the U.S. Coast Guard medallion
C= the total number of flag poles in your location (including the one behind you) minus 3
D=the third digit in the year on the bottom of the U.S. Coast Guard medallion minus 1

Destination #3:
Sometimes the efforts of an individual can inspire me to Give Thanks for their personal sacrifices. Such is true in the case of this destination. The coordinater take you to a small cemetery on the grounds of an old and beautiful church. Use the easternmost entrance to the cemetery grounds. Please be respectful. . . this is hallowed ground. Your destination is just off the concrete path that leads into the cemetery from the eastermost entrance. You will not have to wander throughout the cemetery grounds to find this destination.
You can't help but admire the tall, cross-topped grave marker that memorializes the life of a man who was not born in the United States, but still took up arms during a time of revolutionary war in 19th century.
Please collect the following clues to take you to your next destination.
A=the third digit in the year this man came to America plus 2
B=the second digit in the year this man was born in Lancashire, England
C=the first digit in the year this man died in Washington, N.C. plus 1
D=the third digit in the year the man died in Washington, N.C. minus 4

Destination #4:
I often Give Thanks for the beauty of nature that surrounds us, especially here in Eastern North Carolina. The coordinates take you to a very beautiful sight. . . with the Highway 17 Bridge and the Pamlico River straight ahead of you.
As you face the bridge and the river, there should be two marker stones immediately in front of you. Please collect the following clues from the stone marker on your left that commemorates the Washington Waterfront Development project.
A=the first digit in the year on the left marker stone
B=the third digit in the year on the left marker stone minus 1
C=the fourth digit in the year on the left marker stone minus 1
D=the second digit in the year on the left marker stone minus 9

Final Destination:
The walk to your final destination on this journey pays homage to the freedom each of us in this country has to move freely as we choose without restriction. This freedom, as well as all the other freedoms and rights we have as U.S. citizens, gives me and inspires me to Give Thanks to God and our country.
Your walk will take you along the Pamlico River and the wetlands created as part of the City's storm water drainage project. Continue along the pine-boards to the spot where the cache is hidden (you will walk all the way to the end). Please be careful not to reveal the location of the cache given that muggles do frequent the area from time-to-time on-foot and in vehicles. You are looking for a mail box. Please note that if for any reason the boardwalk is closed, you can still get to the final destination by walking along Water Street and following your GPS as you get close.
If you have trouble finding the cache, think about the lyrics od that classic Drifters song released in 1964. Can you almost taste the hot dogs and french fries they sell???
