Small cache located along the old New York Central - Michigan Central Railroad (Polly Ann Trail).
DO NOT PARK ALONG M-24-LAPEER RD.!
Cache is a green military decon kit container hidden along the abandoned New York Central - Michigan Central Railroad. While the trail is unimproved here, just south in the town of Oxford you will find it to be part of the very nice Polly Ann Trail system. Room for small trinkets and trackables. FTF is $1 bill.
This is the second cache I've hidden along the "forgotten" part of the Polly Ann Trail system. See cache GC1XZX2 for the first one, hidden up near Imlay City.
Please be careful around the bridge at the cache site. Watch for thorns, broken bottles, garbage, loose ground and low head clearance.
DO NOT PARK ALONG M-24 (Lapeer Rd.). This is a signed no-parking zone and you will get ticketed. Plus, traffic speeds along here like it's an interstate. Park just north of the cache at the corner of Metamora Rd. and M-24 in the Church parking lot then walk down the old railroad bed.
