Geocache Description:

There are sixteen Protectworth (origional name for Springfield)Caches, all but four are on the Sunapee-Ragged-Kearsarge Greenway. The remaining four are on the new trail to Dutchman Pond. This new section is well flagged so there shouldn't be any problem following it. All are within a few feet of the trail, no need to bushwack. All are winter friendly.

Remember, Trolls are short so don't go looking way high for this micro. Hope you brought your pencil.

After logging in and continuing, you will enter a long flat area of the trail. It appears to be an old field where either corn or potatoes were planted. Minus snow, you can still see areas of furrows which run perpendicular to the trail. This was farming country and soon you will see some wonderful stone walls.
