Another cache placed in a location which overlooks some absolutely stunning scenery, views reach across to Brynmawr, Llanelly Hill, Gilwern, and the outskirts of Abergavenny.
The Nook Near The Alder Grove is the literal translation from the welsh language for "Gilwern", which is the area that the cache overlooks.
I have placed this cache here, as it is one of my all time favourite places. I'm sure that you will also appreciate the breathtaking views from this cache site. From this spot on a clear day, you can plainly see other cache sites, such as "The Lonely Shepherd" and "One for Gryff".
The cache is a small cliplock container, and because of this, contains only a logbook and a pen. When the cache was first placed it also contained the "Blue Canary" Geocoin.
