This cache is located along the 10 mile creek trail
This is the realignment of the 10 mile creek.
It purpose is to reestablish the plant and wild life after the creek was realigned for the nearby business.
Cache is a nice short hike on easy terrain.
Thanks to 42at42 for the following information:
The No Trespassing signs are for the landfill. They don't want people on the other side of the wire fence.
The reason the trail says closed is because they put in a new burm and the trail is not a loop at this time.
She said they have no problem with people using the trail.
She discourages use of the trail during business hours, only because you have to cross the driveway from the parking area to get to the trail. Right now it is heavily used during construction of the new landfill. After they are done construction they will work on making the trail a full loop (figure 8) again.
