Geocache Description:

THE CACHE IS NOT AT THE POSTED COORDINATES. THERE IS NO REASON TO GO THERE!

You win the trophy by being the first to find the cache holding the trophy. Once you find the cache and win the trophy, you have 30 days to proudly display the trophy on your desk, kitchen window sill, or fireplace mantel. On the 30th day (or sooner) after your find, you must hide the trophy in a NEW cache named FTFC#__. Put the next sequential number in the ____. Once the FTF trophy has been found, the caches will remain for other geocachers to visit the site of a once great championship find! Please remember to log the TB as its log will be the official list of Championship First Finders. You may win the championship as many times as you like. This Championship series will also generate a new cache each time it’s held. So if you're not willing to build a new stadium for the next championship hunt, don’t win the trophy.

NOTE: IT IS COMPLETELY OPTIONAL TO TAKE THE TROPHY AND TO CREATE A NEW CACHE. YOU MAY FIND THE CACHE AT ANYTIME WITHOUT BEING REQUIRED TO TAKE THE TROPHY AND CREATE A NEW CACHE. JUST LOG THE CACHE AS YOU NORMALLY WOULD AND LEAVE THE TROPHY IN THE CACHE.

Now all that’s out of the way – to find this cache you have to understand that every year in Texas, starting with the first full weekend in November, another addiction starts its control over thousands of people. It’s called “Deer Hunting”. It’s that time of year where you hear people talking about their necks swelling and going into rut. One of the things that is always on their mind is getting that big one, that trophy, a world record. Will their trophy score high enough to make the record book? To find this cache you’re going to have to be able to see if these trophies make that expectation. Good Luck and Happy Hunting!!

To find the North Coordinates: Trophy #1 + Trophy #2

To find the West Coordinates: Trophy #1
