The best access for this cache search is to park beside one of those dreaded yellow gates (sorry!), but there is a safe parking area there for you. I think many of you have already been this far before.
Past the yellow gate and you are on an 'access road', and at the time we placed the cache this road was covered with many large, yellow big leaf maple leaves - very scenic. There is a gentle slope down to the cache but it should be easy for all. Near the cache is a tiny pond, thanks to the busy little beavers who maintain a small dam here to collect water from the culvert that comes under the road. We know you will respect their area and their work. Checking nearby you may find many sticks, not yet placed into the dam, that the beavers have chewed on. They have enjoyed the bark meal and will recycle the sticks into their dam when the time is right.
The cache itself is near enough to the dam so you can find both, but also far enough away so you should not cause concern or damage to their handi-work. Just enjoy.
