Geocache Description:

This is one for people on foot and will require some walking - definitely not a park & grab! The concrete path amongst the marsh where the cache is was discovered by a local biker riding exploring around the area.

If you're a local, you've probably often driven right over this spot and not known it was there. Where the James Island Expressway meets Lockwood Boulevard is a concrete mass of roads, and tucked below is a tiny tranquil world where some boats are docked.

So by getting out of your car, and onto your feet you'll get a unique view of the amazing road system that was built right on the marshland between the downtown peninsular and James Island.

It is a tiny micro container containing just a roll of log paper - bring your own writing implement to sign your name.

Additional notes:

1) There is *no* nearby parking! When I placed the cache, I parked in one of local MUSC/Hospital complex car parks and walked their on foot. I recommend you do the same. You do NOT need to cross the six lanes of busy traffic to get to it.

2) You will have to stoop down a lot at one point as you go out on the concrete walkway. So if you find yourself thinking "But I'll have to duck right down to get through there!" then you are quite literally on the right path ...

3) I don't recommend this for small children, or those that might be liable to fall into water! I don't know how deep it is ...
