Geocache Description:

Riverside Oaks now, but this land was originally a grant of 1803 made to George Hall, one of the free settlers that came out to Australia on the Coromandel in 1802. A north country farmer and carpenter, Hall and his family by Mary Smith created a Hawkesbury dynasty that can still today bring together 400 descendants at an Ebenezer reunion. First, Bungool , then Paradise Gardens, where children could savour the delights of a jungle boat cruise on a primeval lagoon seething with dinosaurs up until 1985 and now Riverside Oaks.
