Geocache Description:

The Tenson-jinja Shrine, built in AD782, is famous for the annual harvest festival in autumn.

Otsu is the capital city of Shiga Prefecture. It is only two stations away from Kyoto on the JR Tokaido Line, however the character is much different from Kyoto being separated by a mountain ridge .

A cache is hidden near the Tenson-jinja Shrine (visit link) on the way from JR Otsu station to the Shiga Prefecture Office Building.

This is one of four caches for celebrating the 1st Otsu Jazz Festival 2009, Oct 31 and Nov 1. (visit link)

Other Caches:
Otsu Port Piers (visit link)
Otsu Pedestrian Bridge (visit link)
Otsu Old Tokaido (visit link)
