Surf's Beach Clean Up Cache In Trash Out® Event
k5¢ents: It's been a month now, so time to retire the event.
Plans are already underway for next years trip, probably in mid February.
Hopefully we can arrange another CITO somewhat closer to San Jose and gather a few more participants.

The Junior Forest Wardens would like to welcome any and all geocachers who happen to be in the area to join us in our small contribution to the local environment.
We come from Canada, participating in our third annual Costa Rica Eco Adventure Tour. Part of our tour consists of cleaning up Samara beach, an area known for it's commitment to preserve the natural surroundings and wildlife.
As many members of our group are active geocachers, and geocaching will be a part of our tour, we decided to make this small and informal CITO (Cache In, Trash Out) event open to all cachers.
We will meet on the beach in front of Villas Playa Samara, starting early at about 7AM to avoid frying our little brains in the heat of the day. If people can't make it to the start, they can still come out to contribute whatever they can. We usually only go for a couple of hours on any of our cleanups.

A los Junior Forest Wardens les complace invitar a todos los geocachers, que vayan a estar cerca de esta zona, unirse a esta pequeña contribución al medio ambiente.
Venimos de Canadá, participando en nuestra tercera Eco Aventura Turística Costarricense anual. Parte de nuestro tour consiste en limpiar playa Sámara, un área conocida por su compromiso con preservar la flora y fauna que la rodea.
Como muchos de nuestro grupo son geocachers activos, y el geocaching será parte de nuestro tour, decidimos crear este pequeño e informal evento CITO (Cache In, Trash Out) abierto a todos los cachers.
Nos veremos en la playa frente a Villas Playa Sámara, empezando a las 7AM para evitar que se nos frían los cerebros del calor que hará. Si no pueden llegar a esa hora, todavía están invitados a contribuir cuando puedan. Normalmente nuestras campañas de limpieza solo duran un par de horas.
