When you go for this cache, take a look at the kiosk information
and the interpretive panels. They give a lot of fascinating
information about the San Pasqual Valley and the San Dieguito River
Park. You'll see some nice views of the valley and the San Diego
Wild Animal Park.
This cache is part of the CTC (Coast to Crest) trail series in
the San Dieguito
River Park. This expanse of trail will eventually extend 55
miles from the shores of Del Mar to the crest of Volcan Mountain
near Julian. SDRP is one of the few county Open Space Preserves
that still allows Geocaching as long as it's in compliance with
their caching policy. Please be respectful of the surrounding
habitat, and practice CITO.
