A simple Traditional that commemorates Flying Officer Ian Stoeckel.
Situated amidst a carefully manicured rose garden in the grounds of Glandore Oval is a small monument erected in memory of Flying Officer Ian Stoeckel, killed in action on 9th November, 1943.
Depending upon the timing of your search, you may have to wait for a the odd passing muggle or watch some quality cricket. But dont' forget to stop and smell the roses as, not far away, the rest of the world rushes by.
