This cache was placed in celebration of mom2mtp's 50th birthday! While camping at Doran Park, we decided to place a cache along her favorite walk in the area. Take a moment to enjoy the bench and the views at the cache site!
Small plastic container. Can only hold small trade items. Bring a pen. When this cache was placed, leaving the walkway was not necessary. Now it seems to have migrated slightly downhill, so you might have to take a step or two. Please don't damage any habitat or leave a geo-trail! Please recover the cache well using the natural camo.
You can park on the Doran Park road across from the start of the trail, or on Hwy. 1 at the Sonoma County Parks Bird Walk entrance. This cache is on the connector portion of the trail between one of our favorite campgrounds and the Bird Walk. This is a great place to take kids and teach them about the area!
