Parking at the Dolphin Hotel, St Ives (£1 all day or free if you buy a coffee or drink at the bar) Free parking on approach roads.
Enjoy a pleasant saunter along the river Great Ouse and pick up this cache along the way.Continue on a circular route and pick up Haul it up as well (GC1AXZ7) No tree cover so a good GPS reading should take you to the spots. A small white film canister contains the log. Can be muddy in wet weather, under water in the flood times. A good dog walking area - especially if they enjoy a swim. Plenty of space for the kids to run around and tire themselves out BUT don't let them go swimming with the dog unless you know about it! This is a popular area in the summer for a picnic and swim so it is best visited in the morning or late evening. Often the picnic folk leave litter so take a black bag and trash out. You will also need a pen as there is no pencil in the cache.
