Take a tour of Lake
Mackintosh's wood statues. The park ranger purchases a new
statue every year from a shop along the beach in South
Carolina. The statues are readily apparent. Get within
twenty-five feet of a statue and the cartridge will ask you to
identify the animal. Casing does not matter.
This Wherigo cartridge will show you where seven statues are and
will, once you get within twenty-five feet, ask you to identify the
animal. Casing does not matter. You may identify the statues in
whatever order you please. After correctly identifying all statues,
you will be led to the cache. Getting to the cache does not require
a hike.
If you want to find this cache before February 2010, you'll have to
hurry! The park is closed in December and January. Please refer to
their web site for the park's hours of
operation.
Download the Wherigo cartridge and have a
nice, easy tour. The cartridge was checked against a
Colorado.
Note: I was concerned about the squirrel statue's permanency,
perched atop an electric box, so I did not include it in the
cartridge.
