The Eagle Spur Trail connects from the Kanes Creek Trail and
ends at a quiet, wildlife observation blind overlooking Kanes
Creek. Refer to the park website or visitor center for a trail map.
The round trip hike to the cache will be a little over two miles.
Trail conditions can vary greatly depending on seasonal weather
conditions, be prepared for some exposed roots, mud, leaves and
slippery spots. The silver blazes can be hard to spot too. Please
remain on the trail until you get within 150 ft of the hide.
A parking fee is required to enter the park, currently
$3/weekday and $4/weekends. Remember to visit the other geocaches
in this park.
This geocache has written approval on file with the Chief Ranger

policy. The container is marked with an official Virginia State
Park Geocache sticker.
Congratulations to the fleet-footed Wetfit for being the First to Find!
