Double Gold - JAKKTeam's 2K, part 1 Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

sno_man: This one has served its purpose long ago, and now JAKKTeam is well past 2,000 finds, even 3,000, 4,000, 5,000 finds, and they are, in fact well, on the way to 7,000 finds. I hope some day to have that much time. Heh heh. Anyway, the o-ring on the bison tube is long gone, somebody stole the hockey puck it was stored in, and recently there have been dead deer nearby. Not fun for anyone, besides the fact that the hockey rink is plowing all the snow here. So, time for this one to go. Congrats again to JAKKTeam, and thanks to all that visited.

Geocache Description:

Look for a hockey puck. Should be an easy find. Bring your own pencil.

FTF Hounds: No rush - JAKKTeam is FTF via prior notification. Feel free to be STF though!!!

I've only known "J" of JAKKTeam for a short while now, and haven't yet met the rest of the team. But J and I share a few passions - the first, clearing out those darn "AYTE" caches, no matter how long it takes us!!!

And our second shared passion is hockey (for those of you who don't know, J plays at the nearby hockey arena). I first got to talking to J about hockey as we were lugging a stepladder and a broken hockey stick through the woods many, many miles south of here. Now why would we be lugging a broken hockey stick through the woods? See first shared passion.

The cache is a hockey puck. Yeah, you read that ... a hockey puck. The area can be highly muggled at times, especially on weekends, so use extreme stealth. A strategic parking job will hide your activities!

I felt it appropriate to commemorate JAKKTeam's 2000 finds by placing not one, but two golden caches, and this is the first. Stop by and congratulate them!
