Geocache Description:

This is the fifth and final cache in our series.

The Old Dyke Railway ran all the way from Hove up Devil's Dyke hill on the Downs. It was closed in 1938. There is now a footpath that follows the same route it took.

This series consists of 5 caches ranged along that path, running almost all of the way up to the Devil's Dyke and starting from the car park at the bottom of the footpath. We have placed the caches so that people following the Monarch's Way do not have to go down to the car park to get any of the caches.
