A bison tube in a small park in Dansville. The park closes at 10 pm. Please do not cache after that hour.
The cache title refers to a nearby bridge, built by the WPA in 1935-36, long before most cachers were born. It is still in pretty good shape after 70+ years. There are two more very similar bridges in the park that were probably built by the same Depression-era stimulus program, but they are not so labeled.
The difficulty of this cache is a little hard to rate. The coords should take you right to the correct place, but the cache is quite small and the camouflage is effective unless you just happen to get at exactly the correct angle. It would be extremely difficult after dark, as the first two finders discovered.
PLEASE READ: This is a small bison tube. Please DO NOT detach it from the place where it is attached – instead, unscrew the bottom and remove the log. Be sure not to lose track of where the cap is! It will be hard to reroll the log, but once you have it tightly rolled, insert it in the cap first, then screw on the bottom.
Please write small. I removed part of the log to make it easier to roll, so space is limited.
***Congrats to sno_man for FTF and to Liberty'rents2 for a very near miss on the FTF!***
