Geocache Description:

A small lock-n-lock hidden at the Albany Fairgrounds, the location of one of only a few independent fairs in the state of Ohio. Requires a short walk across level ground.

About a year ago, I placed a cache to help celebrate illinitrekker's 1000th find. Eleven months later, I am placing this one to mark his 2000th find (hence, the title which is a play on Y2K). It is located near a building that illinitrekker and I often frequent. Do not use the parking lot associated with this facility.

The cache is located within a public access area. The cache will be disabled for a week in early September when the fair is in progress. Be mindful that this area is occasionally in use for other events. Please do not attempt to find the cache when people are present.

I included a variety of key rings and hope cachers will trade evenly for these to keep a nice supply available.

Do not park on U.S. 32/50. Instead, take the Albany exit ramp and then pull off into the drive. Once you find the cache, you can take the ramp to travel westbound or make left, right, left turns to get back to the highway for eastbound travel. This cache is meant to be a relatively quick grab and go.

FTF - Congratulations to Roboy!
