Geocache Description:

Short walk to both parts or medium walk if not driving.

We have uploaded an original pic in the listing - we found the spot where the pic was taken and reproduced the shot - it would be interesting to see all the results if you were to do likewise - unlike the others in the series YOU have to find the jetty.

This has to be one of the most widely distributed prints of the Lake District – we see copies of it everywhere. We set off one weekend to try and re-create it ie find the actual spot where the photograph was taken – we didn’t know at the time that it had been taken from Glenridding so we had a great day out around Ullswater and you got a few new caches
