This is a small container well camod in a gnarly dude.
We often bike to this side of the island during the summer and enjoy the view of Nut Island. Not too far down the road to the east in the summer we have enjoyed fantastic swimming along the limestone shelf.
In the wintertime the ice dunes caused by the wave action of the lake are spectacular and this lakeshore landscape changes dramatically.
Please be very careful with the old gnarly dude. I had to use a lot of nature's remnants to secure the cache from the elements of the seasons on this southern shore. Not sure how it will deal with vigor!
As always bring a pen/pencil and it is also handy to have a dry piece of paper in case something happens to the log pages. This area does get some heavy wind and forceful wet weather on inclement days so judge your trip accordingly. That being said, today when I placed the cache, it was spectacular.
