This is a story about how to know when you have had a great day geocaching.
When we go caching, we always seem to find that stones get stuck in the treads
of our hiking shoes. That usually means that our car mats are full of them. They
also get tracked into our house and we have to vacuum them up. They do come
in handy though. There are usually lots of them available when we need a way
to cross a brook.
Speaking of things we track in the house, sticks and twigs get caught in our
clothes and stuck in our hair (at least one of us has that problem) and usually
our car mats are full of them as well.
But stones and sticks are also very useful when it comes to concealing a cache
from the view of muggles. We have used very large sticks, also known as logs,
to help us cross brooks and streams.
Therefore, when our shoes, car, clothes, hair and house are full of stones and
sticks, we know that we have had a great day of geocaching.
So, may a stone stick to your hiking shoe, Jim52!
