Loam Island is about 1.5km long and runs close to the Thuringowa mainland. The island boasts a great diversity of plant and riverine life indigenous to its environment.
My First Multi..... Feedback Welcome
Thought my first few caches were a bit easy.... hopefully this one is more of a challenge.
Cache is not at the advertised co-ordinates. These co-ordinates are the car park at the start of the cache.
Total walking distance is less than 2KM & all but the last 100m is suitable for all walkers.
The clues can be found on signs along the way.
Multi starts in the car park then it’s a short walk along Booroona Trail following the river towards Riverway. The answers to the clues can be found on signs along the way.
The clues are sequential. The first 3 are at the supplied co-ordinates, the rest are along the side of the river on your walk.
The co-ordinates are as accurate as I could get with the overhanging trees.
Cache located at S19 H0.GAC E146 BD.EIF where:-
A = Number of letters in the yellow sign painted on the ground (2 words)
B = 2nd digit on fire hydrant (AS2 ? 19.2)
C = 2nd digit of Ruswin Security’s Monitoring Contact Phone Number
D = Number on “Mountains of the sea” sign
E = Number of letters in missing 3rd word on sign number 2 “Tree made ?”
F = 4th digit of NQ water phone number (same as 7th & 9th digit)
G = Speed limit on NO WASH sign
H = 1st digit of vehicle speed limit in Loam Island Boat Ramp car park
I = Last digit of NQ Hoo Hoo Club number (26?)
