propinquiTy Traditional Cache

The word propinquiTy comes from the Latin word which means nearness. For some of you old timers, you might remember the Dobie Gillis TV show from the 1950s. In this show there was a girl, Zelda Gilroy, who believed that Dobie would eventually come to love her because their last names put them in close proximity - propinquity throughout school. This might seem like weird science, but studies at MIT seem to indicate that indeed there is a tendency for people to form friendships or romantic relationships with those whom they often encounter. In other words, relationships tend to be formed between those who have a high propinquiTy. Now this cache doesn’t have anything to do with forming friendships or romantic relationships (well maybe it does for some of us??), but it is one of the principles of caching - you will have a better chance of finding a cache if you just “hang out” with it for a while, instead of giving up easily; propinquiTy will win out in the end. Oh, by the way, in a later made for TV movie, Zelda was married to Dobie. This cache is starting out with a travel bug, and a little swag with room for a little more. Bring your own pen/pencil. If you take the bug, leave one.
