This cache is located in a very beautiful and scenic area. The terrain is not difficult. The cache is a lock n lock sistema box with swaps, log book, pencil and sharpener.
When parking for waypoint 1 and for the cache, please park responsibly as far to the side as you can.
We have often wondered what was down this road ourselves. Perhaps you have too. When we took the time and took the drive we were enthralled with the beauty of the landscape. Waypoint 1 was chosen because the scenery here is wonderful and we wanted you to have to stop so you would have the time to admire it. Waypoint one is a bison container with the co-ordinates within for the final cache location.
The location of the cache is an interesting area. The road finishes soon so you will have to choose your turning spot carefully. If you look into the field on the other side of the road from the cache you will notice some wind socks. These are located there to enable the hang gliders, who take off from above on the top of Beechmont, to be able to assess the wind conditions at ground level so that they can make any necessary adjustments to land safely. Look up at the sky. You may see hang gliders in flight.
As for the cache, it is painted black (that's a clue).
