This cache is located along the tow path that starts from Towpath Park. Towpath Park is located along Rt. 724 in East Coventry township.
I am dedicating this cache to Jack who was ½ of the JegMag team and recently passed away on October 24, 2009. I, along with many others, have enjoyed all the caches they have put out in the Pottstown area especially the river caches! I was offered the opportunity to adopt their active caches from his wife, Mary Ann and accepted. As I was doing some new owner maintenance on the nearby Towpath Park cache and since I had recently archived the original We Started in the Park, I found a nice spot along the same path where they placed their 1st cache.
Enjoy the view of the river and be careful at the last 15’ or so!
Towpath Park is open from dawn to dusk. The park entrance is located at N40 13.486 W75 37.125. After you have entered the park, follow the road back to the boat ramp parking area. Then follow the trail along the Schuylkill River.
