John's original information left as the cache page.
While on my way to GC1Z6DJ - Bogie in the Goyt, I spotted a good spot for a cache so came back a few weeks later having also found GC20Q7T - Crock Hey Cache and hid a traditional cache at the spot I had previously seen.
Then on the way back to the Cachemobile I saw another good spot but could only fit a micro in there.
Then continuing the walk a third location presented itself and a traditional cache fitted in there.
So there is the story behind three caches linking two I had enjoyed finding. If you start as I did at Crock Hey you will find them in the opposite order to their numbering - but so what, it can be a lovely walk. Or if you prefer you can start at Carr Mill.
I did wonder why the road was so well surfaced for what appears to be a simple farm track and which not longer completes its old route. Then I remembered that not so long ago the adjacent fields were open cast mined and this was the access road.
Only the last couple of yards are beyond wheelchair/buggy access. Try not to leave a cachers' trail.
Please take care not to trap the "cover" in the cache seal.
