Geocache Description:

Bit of a hike and bushwhacking required to get close. Cache contains a log, pencil, and sharpener, no room for trade items.

When I was in university, we had lecture in a room that had really steep seating, with the prof standing at the bottom. We called it the snake pit. What does this have to do with this cache? Sign the log to find out.

There is a pretty serious mountain bike trail close to the river, and a more moderate one on the upper bank.

This would be a pretty tough find/bushwhack in winter. Not going to disable it, but be warned.
