Geocache Description:

Located inside Sunset State Beach off the main road to the camping sites. There is no need to go in or up close to the big boarded up house or barn. Respect the State Park signs.

Just a small typical cache hidden in a clear rectangular tupperware. Star Wars Magnet, Abalone Bracelet, Starfish Necklace, cool binder clip and sticker were placed in the cache to begin with. If you are Geo-Caching in the evening, beware of the Swanky Hoots, the resident owl, that we believe lives in the abandoned barn! Please do not approach the boarded up house or the barn. There is no need to go past any signs that warn not to enter. N 36° 53.774 W 121° 50.177 Old Coordinates N 36° 53.763 W 121° 50.208 New Coordinates After a run-in with the law today (the local ranger of the park) while checking up on our hide, we were sadly told that we could not hide it there anymore. It is now in a more people accessible and legal point off of the small trail near the covered picnic benches and bathrooms leading towards the barn. There is no need to go more than a couple of feet beyond or to the side of the DO NOT ENTER sign. Our resident owl Swanky Hoots lives in that barn with his home-boy Hoots Doggy Dogg, but there is no need for you to go peek inside as the barn is very unstable.
