A micro hidden in an outcrop of rocks, not far from the Bog Springs trail.
I received an encouraging omen when I hid this cache.
The name of this cache came from its container, which I found discarded beside a road somewhere. The general location of Madera Canyon was chosen because I'd seen wild turkeys there. When I found this rock outcrop, I thought it would be a challenging place to hide a micro. While I was hiding the cache, I heard bird noises of a type I'd never heard before, so after I'd hidden it and while my GPSr was averaging its location, I went in search of the bird.
You guessed it. Turned out to be a flock of turkeys less than 200 feet away.
Congrats to philbeer, who caught the turkey first.
