The large cloud temple is length line [yama**shou] academy and is title [shimasu] . in jodo sect. The Brahman honor saint of 1620 (1620) received 3,000 tsubos in the temple estate from the army two Brigadier General [**] loyalties and it founded it to ground in the Morita-cho (Kuramae) in Asakusa.
It moved to this [jooue] (next of the industrial civil service flat park east) in 1668 (1668), and, in addition, it moved to ground as of 1931.
It is known by the name of "Actor temple" because there are a lot of graves of the kabuki actor. The principal image is an amitabha Buddha sitting image.

大雲寺は浄土宗で、長行山専称院と号します。元和6年（1620）梵誉上人が二代将軍秀忠から寺領三千坪を賜って浅草の森田町（蔵前）の地に開山しました。
寛文8年（1668）に本所押上（現業平公園東隣）に移り、さらに昭和6年現在地に移転しました。
歌舞伎役者の墓が多いので「役者寺」の名で知られています。本尊は阿弥陀如来坐像です。
