Geocache Description:

THE CACHE IS NOT AT THE PUBLISHED CO-ORDINATES.

THERE IS POTENTIAL RISK AT GZ.

Please read the cache information carefully. This cache site is
not for everyone, some of you might want to end the day after (hopefully) enjoying the Grotton Circular Series. As with all geocaching you attempt at your own risk entirely.

After learning a little about the history of Grotton, I
thought I'd bring you to a place where you could actually take a
piece of that history home. The cache site must have been a dump
back in the day and the surrounding area is a treasue trove of late
19th and early 20th century glass bottles. If you spend a little
time looking I will all but guarantee you will find some.

Unfortunately people haven't changed much over the past 100 years
and there is also a significant amount of present day trash.
In the spirit of CITO, all I ask, if you do find some old cool
'trash', that you dispose of some new trash too! And although there
seems to be plenty of interesting old bottles, that you limit what
you take so that future cachers can also make a find.

WARNING!! BEWARE

Due to the nature of the location, there is a lot of broken glass
and ceramics. If you brought your dog on the Grotton Circular
series I would suggest putting him/her back in your car at this
point. Older kids should find it fascinating but please
supervise them.

Be careful not to pick up a bottle without checking
it is not broken. A stick and/or gloves will be very useful. Also
when searching for the cache do not stick your hands into any
unsighted hole, as there is a lot of glass fragments within the
ground.

To find this cache you need to visit the 3 multi-caches in the Grotton Circular series and note the codes from each one. The codes
can be found in both the finals and the stages so keep your eyes
open.
Grotton Circular #1 - It Put Us On The Map. GC21AV3
Grotton Circular #2 - The Beginnings GC21B7B
Grotton Circular #3 - If You Build It. GC21AMJ

You then need to apply these codes to the
following

N53° A C. D F E
W002° 0 A. A B 0

KEY:
E=B x 2
F=A+B+C

The cache is a regular size tupperware. When placed it was full
of cleaned glass bottles that I have found on site.
I would request that usual geocaching trade policy
applies. I will refill the cache periodically with cleaned bottles.
(Providing there are still bottles to be found!!)

Please do not put any dirty bottles you find into the cache.
