Nice easy walk in a great spot to watch the wildlife.
This is a typical ammo can stashed in the Jackson Bottom wetlands just outside of downtown Hillsboro. The park has good flat trails and there is very little bush whacking involved. It's a 2.2 mile roundtrip from the parking lot(N 45° 30.024' W 122° 59.429') and could be twice that if you go exploring. This site also has a HUGE amount of wildlife. If you are a bird watcher this is a can't miss. The park is closed from dusk to dawn and no dogs are allowed. Enjoy the scenery!
