This is a wonderful section of the trail with some wider spaces, nice views of the Columbia River, and some nicely landscaped homes. I've seen a fox running along the shore near here a couple of times in the last year, but no fear as he is spooked by humans from even the greatest distance.
Cache is ammo can that is filled with swag from my girls. There are a number of other caches in the park and along the trail so be sure to find those as well.
This is a two stage multi that begins near the Chiawana Park boat ramp. The final cache is around 0.3 mile walk. Although both stages are off the trail cachers can follow the paved Sacajawea Heritage Trail for most of the way in between.
Enjoy!
