Geocache Description:

This cache will take you into the another section of Tosohatchee. This area has a beauty all it’s own, from pine trees, to palms to oaks to maples. I'm sure you will not be disappointed venturing out for this find. You are looking for bison tube container - last container got burned up in a prescribed burn . As I mentioned before, this is a real nice place to visit. It was pretty dry out there the day I put the cache out, but I would guess that the area could be a little wet at different times of the year. There are few ways to get to the cache, I always try and find the easiest way to a spot, but that is up to you

This is a beautiful area, not used by many people. You can get at into Tosohatchee from RT50, but most people enter the Tosohatchee WMA from the main gate off Taylor Creek Road - there is a $3 charge per car if you are not 65 or older.

In the Tosohatchee WMA hunting is allowed at different times of the year. You can check my hunting calendar at "www.tinyurl.com/techunts" or click here to see it now. If in the area during hunting season, wear your orange or bright colors.

I have also come across some hunter/hiker trash while exploring the area, so show them by being a CITO cacher.

You can read more about Tosohatchee at my blog - click here.
