Information must be gathered at the first stage to calulate the coordinates for the second stage. Cache containers cannot be placed in Wildlife Production Areas, so the final is a short drive away. If you have the time, take a walk to the west. You can go in about half a mile.

The Minnesota Valley National Wildlife Refuge and Wetland Management District manages a large network of waterfowl production areas (WPAs). This is one of them.

To calculate the final coordinates, use information from the sign at this location.

Add the year for Phil Scholer to the year for Bruce Miller and devide by 7000. Subtract this number from the north coordinates.

Take the area code from the phone number and reverse the order of the digits. Add this to the year for Roger Preuss and divide by 1000. Add this number to the west coordinates.
