Geocache Description:

The cache is hidden amoung multiple Beaver dams, in this granite lake. The cache is near a beaver pond.

There are multiple beaver dams, around and in this beautiful secluded granite bottom lake. This lake used to be a granite quarry, and now is home to ducks, and geese. The cache is near a small beaver pond. Wear your water resistant hiking shoes since sometimes the ground is soft around the beaver pond. There are short obvious, well marked, by pass paths around the wet spots. Stay on or near the trail to stay out of the quarry which is next door.

When cache is placed there will be three rubber ducks inside.
The starting point is the Westford ball field on Russels way at N42 37.905 W071 25.681. The cache is half way around so you can go either way. It is about 1.5km to the cache and if you continue on the trail it is 1.5km to return to your starting point.
